Welcome to Phoenix Yard! We’re so pleased you could join us.

Phoenix Yard Books is an independent children’s publishing house situated in between wobbled cobbled walls and wooden beams of a converted yard and brewery near King's Cross in London.

We aim to publish the most innovative, original and diverse children’s books from the UK and abroad. Publishing for children is the only thing we do; it’s our passion.

Creating a character for our yard
Click on the menu hanging from the yard sign to create your own character. Make sure you fill in all three fields giving your character a name and a story; wait for us to approve the best characters and then wander around and hang out with the other characters in Phoenix Yard; browse our world of books by day and by night; come and be part of our story.
